Foundry 616 Club |
One of the outstanding jazz vocalists in Australia, Emma Pask, returns to Foundry616.
Emma has been a regular performer at the club for over three years and continues to attract full houses for every show. There is no mystery here: she is a brilliant vocal artist at the top of her game, a singer who knows how to interpret the material so that both words and music connect with the modern audience.
Whether it’s a ballad or a medium tempo swinging tune from the great American songbook or burning up-tempo song, Emma makes them all her own.
Her stage presence is dynamic and mesmerizing. From the moment she walks out, it seems she owns the stage it. Only the best can create that impression, only the best can sustain it through the entire evening.
Emma has performed to audiences of up to 80,000 people, sung in London at The Queen Elizabeth Hall with the BBC Concert Orchestra, played support for George Benson on his tour of Australia, performed in China with The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, in Auckland with the NZ Philharmonic, with the WA Symphony Orchestra in Perth as well as recording with the BBC Big Band in London, and at the Phillips International Jazz Festival in Kuala Lumpur.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Emma in the intimate atmosphere of Foundry616.
