A Celebration of Burt Bacharach with the Sydney Symphony
One of the greatest songwriters of all time, Burt Bacharach, along with his long-time collaborator Hal David, provided the soundtrack to our lives. The Oscar, Grammy and Emmy Award winner has written some of the world’s most beloved songs.
In celebration of his extraordinary musical legacy, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and conductor Benjamin Northey will be joined by a stellar cast including David Campbell, Elise McCann, Emma Pask and Thndo to perform some of his greatest hits. These include What the World Needs Now, Alfie, Walk on By, I Say a Little Prayer, Close to You, One Less Bell to Answer, That’s What Friends Are For and more.
