Emma Pask has enjoyed a remarkable career that spans more than 30 years. With a voice that effortlessly blends sophistication and soulful swing, she continues to win the hearts of audiences across the globe, from intimate jazz venues to world-renowned concert halls.

Emma’s professional journey began in her teens when she was discovered by legendary Australian multi-instrumentalist James Morrison, with whom she has maintained a close and prolific collaboration ever since. Known for her exceptional use of rhythm, Emma brings an innate sense of swing, groove, and phrasing to every performance, whether she’s delivering an emotive ballad or an energetic jazz standard. Her rhythmic precision, and ability to blend syncopation with emotion, adds great depth to her vocal artistry making each performance a unique experience.

Emma’s magnetic stage presence and vocal mastery have seen her share the spotlight with some of the greatest names in music. She toured nationally with Grammy Award-winning vocalist Kurt Elling, and Emma was chosen to open for jazz and soul legend George Benson during his Australian tour. In a notable engagement, Emma was invited to perform at the wedding of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, delivering an unforgettable performance with the Sydney All Star Big Band and performing their bridal waltz.

As an internationally recognised artist, Emma has toured the world with her trio, headlining the prestigious Havana Jazz Festival in Cuba and performing on numerous occasions at the Ascona Jazz Festival in Switzerland. These performances have solidified her reputation as a leading figure in global jazz, admired for her vocal brilliance and innovative arrangements.

Throughout her career, Emma has collaborated with a diverse range of world-class artists, including jazz legend Don Burrows, American saxophonist Jeff Clayton, and Romanian virtuoso pianist Marian Petrescu, as well as acclaimed Australian icons Tina Arena, Kate Ceberano, and David Campbell. She has also performed with major orchestras such as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, and Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, further underscoring her versatility and international appeal.
Emma’s profile reached new audiences when she appeared on The Voice Australia, where she was mentored by international pop star Ricky Martin. Deeply moved by her performances, he declared that her voice “needs to be heard all over the world”. She has been recognised with numerous accolades, including the Mo Award for Jazz Vocalist of the Year, and her recordings have earned critical acclaim and ARIA nominations. Her recent albums, Cosita Divina and Dream of Life, highlight her passion for Latin rhythms and classic jazz standards, while also showcasing her skills as a songwriter.
